The newest lab in Innovation City is unlike any other: it has no walls. Instead, quantum experiments run beneath a canopy of ficus trees, surrounded by seedlings gifted by citizens from 47 countries.
"We wanted the science to feel like poetry," said the lead architect. "Poetry doesn't need walls."
